The Executive Director of Lake Ann Camp sets the vision. He leads spiritually, drives external relationships, and oversees faithfulness to our mission and vision.
The Camp Director owns everything behind that.
- Day-to-day operations. Department leadership. Staff accountability.
- Systems that hold up under the pressure of 250 people serving hundreds of campers at full speed. This person doesn’t wait for direction on the details; they build the infrastructure that makes the mission possible.
- The kind of leader who gets genuine satisfaction from watching a complex operation run clean, who feels called to make someone else’s vision reach its potential, and who believes operational excellence is itself a form of ministry.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The background matters less than the wiring.
We’re open to candidates coming from ministry environments and from the marketplace. What we’re looking for is less about your resume category and more about how you’re built.
The right person for this role:
- Finishes things. Consistently, at a high standard.
- Thrives in the second chair. Not because they couldn’t lead at the top, but because they genuinely find fulfillment in making a shared vision succeed.
- Builds systems that outlast them. They don’t create dependency; they create freestanding infrastructure.
- Holds people accountable with clarity and care. They have hard conversations without losing the relationship.
- Brings mature, active faith. Evident in how they lead and how they treat people.
- Can handle a season that goes from 50 to 250 staff in a matter of weeks and back again. Summer camp operations is a category unto itself.
If you’ve led complex operations, managed large or seasonal teams, built HR or quality systems from the ground up, or served in a role where someone else set the vision and you made it work, we want to hear from you.

That happens in a counselor conversation at the waterfront, during a retreat, around a campfire. None of that is possible if the operation around it is chaotic, understaffed, or mismanaged.
The Camp Director creates the infrastructure for life-change to happen.
