Plan your school adventure
Are you looking for a great place to have a meaningful retreat where your leaders/staff and students/group can have a time away from the usual so that the Lord can do something extraordinary? Then maybe it’s time to think about coming to Lake Ann Camp!
Design your retreat
Retreats are a great time to get away from the hub bub of life, have fun, play together, enjoy great food, fellowship and be challenged. Here at Lake Camp we say if you do it at home you probably won’t do it at camp and vice versa. We do that by providing unique learning experiences, such as challenge course, climbing tower, paint ball, laser tag, archery tag, goliath, high ropes, the leap of faith, zip line and big group games. These activities are all led by our trained staff to ensure that not only will the group have fun, be safe, but also learn from their experiential experiences. We are located in the Grand Traverse region where many come from around the country come to enjoy such things as the Empire National Sand Dunes, our many lakes, Traverse City and the National Cherry Festival to name a few things. In the Winter we average 180 inches of snow which makes offering three lighted tubing hills complete with inner tubes easy, snow shoeing and if you desire there are two places to enjoy down hill skiing within an hour of Camp.
Opportunities to Connect
Each of our many activities provide our guests ways to connect with each other, make lasting friendships and provide them with the opportunities to make good and hopefully eternal decisions.
We have another philosophy here at Lake Ann Camp and it’s about “killer bees”, a killer bee is anything that distracts our campers from having a great experience, they can be dirty facilities, smelly bathrooms, bad tasting or not enough food among other things. It’s our commitment to our guests to make things to not get in the way of your group having a great time and allowing the Spirit of God to interact with everyone.
