Sales & Communications Director

NOW HIRING
Sales & Communications Director

WRITING LAKE ANN CAMP'S STORY

Lake Ann Camp is hiring a Sales & Communications Director: the person who fills our calendar with guest groups and tells the world what’s happening here.

This role builds the bridge between Lake Ann Camp and our key audiences.

APPLY NOW

ONE POSITION. MANY HATS.

The Sales & Communications Director at Lake Ann Camp isn’t a role for someone who wants a narrow lane. It’s for someone who wants the entire story of this place running through their hands.

Expect a little bit of everything.

  • We need one person who can do all of it, and do it well.
  • One morning, you’re on the phone with a youth pastor negotiating dates for next summer. That afternoon, you’re reviewing ad spend, or out with a camera waiting for the perfect moment.
  • Every piece of content we publish will run through your oversight.

If you love an adaptable work environment that navigates between sales, marketing, and creative work, this will be a job that you love. It’s built for someone who doesn’t mind owning the entire system.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

A full funnel communication system

SALES
You’ll build the pipeline that fills our retreat calendar. Prospecting churches and schools, running discovery calls, negotiating contracts, and keeping guest group relationships warm so they return year after year.
MARKETING
Paid ads, social media, email, the website, direct mail. You’ll plan the calendar, write the copy, and run the campaigns that get Lake Ann Camp in front of the right people at the right time.
MEDIA
You’re the camera, the editor, and the archive. Shooting and editing the photo and video that tells our story is strongly preferred. You’ll also train a seasonal team each summer to help you do it at scale.

“Lake Ann Camp will maximize resources, multiply partnerships, and leverage influence to annually impact 50,000 campers for Christ.”

OUR VISION

Building on 75+ years of ministry

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We’re open to candidates coming from ministry environments and from the marketplace. What we’re looking for is less about your resume category and more about how you’re built.

The right person for this role:

  • Finishes things. Consistently, at a high standard.
  • Closes deals and stays in touch after the contract is signed. Guest groups come back based on how well you handled them the first time.
  • Moves between a sales call, an ad campaign, and a video edit without losing the thread on any of them. Some days look like three different jobs back to back.
  • Can pick up a camera and consistently come away with something usable in both photography and videography.
  • Wants ownership and vision, not just tasks. You’ll propose ideas, the budget, and recommend hiring decisions for your team. The Executive Director makes the final call, but the thinking and the legwork start with you.
  • Brings mature, active faith. Evident in how they lead and how they treat people.

If you’ve sold or managed client relationships, run paid campaigns, and have working chops behind a camera, we want to hear from you.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Lake Ann Camp needs a consistent voice.

A camp’s reputation is built one retreat, one campaign, one video at a time.

Lake Ann Camp exists to challenge individuals to make biblical, life-changing decisions through unique learning experiences.

None of that happens without people in the door. And nobody walks through that door without first seeing, hearing, or reading something that made them want to.

This role is typically where that first impression is made and where people who already know us decide to come back.

EXPLORE WHO WE ARE

FAITH COMMITMENT

This is a ministry position, and we mean that seriously.

Every member of our team, from summer staff to senior leadership, is expected to be a committed follower of Jesus Christ, in full agreement with our Statement of Faith, and actively engaged in a local church.

Faith here is not a box on an application. It shapes how we lead, how we conflict, how we care for the people under our supervision, and why we show up every day.
