PEOPLE WHO MAKE THE DIFFERENCE
Camp experiences rise or fall on the people leading them. Our staff are carefully selected, extensively trained, and supported with one goal in mind: to create a safe, meaningful environment where campers can thrive and encounter biblical life-change in Jesus.
When you drop off your camper, you can trust the people who welcome them.
INTENTIONAL SELECTION
Every staff member completes a detailed application process, undergoes background screening, and participates in an interview. Beyond skills and experience, we seek individuals whose hearts are rooted in Christ — individuals who demonstrate maturity, strong character, leadership, and a genuine desire to serve campers.
We hire for heart, faith, responsibility, and influence.
OVER 160 HOURS OF TRAINING
Focused on creating a safe, structured, and encouraging environment, training includes:
- Camper care and active supervision
- Safety procedures and emergency response
- Mandatory reporting
- Cabin leadership and healthy group dynamics
- Conflict resolution and behavior management
- Spiritual leadership and mentorship
Preparation matters. We do not send untrained leaders into cabins.
“The staff at Lake Ann are well trained to lead the campers through all activities, both mentally, physically, and spiritually. Their focus on loving the campers is really second to none.”
