Campers push past fear through demanding challenges, reflect on the shores of Lake Michigan, serve in Traverse City, and practice bold, Christ-like leadership. Focused teaching and raw conversations help them uncover strengths and step into leadership with humility and purpose. Reserved for high schoolers nominated by peers and counselors.

Lake Ann Camp counselors are here for more than supervision; they’re here to connect with campers. Through honest conversations, bible exploration, and worship, our staff helps campers see that following Jesus isn’t abstract or distant, but personal, joyful, and worth living for.

REBORNE RANGERS FAQ's
Reborne Rangers is designed for campers ready to take on leadership opportunities and deepen their camp experience. Participants should be motivated to work collaboratively, engage in team challenges, and embrace mentorship from counselors and peers. See all summer camp programs.
Campers engage in mentorship, team challenges, ministry activities, and hands-on leadership experiences. Opportunities include preparing and presenting devotionals and participating in community outreach.
If we have a nomination on file, you’ll receive an email with next steps before October 1. If you believe your camper was nominated but haven’t heard from us by then, reach out to [email protected], and we’ll sort it out.
Yes. A nomination stays valid for as long as your camper is age-eligible for camp. You do not need to be renominated each year.
Campers are chosen through a nomination and application process, including references from adults who know the camper well. Acceptance is based on leadership potential, character, and commitment to personal and spiritual growth.
Registration/applications open post Labor Day each year for the following summer.
Due to high demand and limited space for the program, applications are processed by grade level; acceptance will begin for all grade levels by December and will remain open until the program fills.
Unlike regular camp, registration cannot be fully completed online — it must be done on the back end by office staff.
If you want to begin paying for camp, you can register for a week of senior high, and our office staff can convert the payment to Reborne Rangers once an application has been submitted, reviewed, and the camper has been accepted.
Reborne Ranger Cabins
Reborne Rangers campers stay in cabins with peers who share their commitment to leadership and growth. Guided by experienced counselors, cabin life becomes a place for connection, mentorship, and purposeful collaboration. Campers learn to support one another, tackle challenges as a team, and build meaningful friendships that extend beyond the week.

GENERAL FAQ's
Reborne Rangers combines core camp experiences with specialized leadership training, spiritual growth exercises, and group projects designed to foster confidence, collaboration, and service.
Meals are nutritious, filling, and designed to fuel active days. Campers enjoy favorites like pizza, spaghetti, chicken tenders, hamburgers, and homemade cinnamon rolls. Special dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice.
A full-time registered nurse, a family doctor, and several health assistants are on site throughout the summer.
Mail call is one of the highlights of the week. Letters, emails, and care packages are all welcome. Get everything you need to know here >

Yes! Campers can request to be in the same cabin with two other friends on the same program. Please note that we can never guarantee these requests, but we do our absolute best to accommodate at least one, if not both.
To encourage new friendships and prevent camper isolation, we only allow friend groups of three campers per cabin.
