for Young Adults
Each year, we love to welcome college students and young adults to Lake Ann Camp for an overnight retreat to start the New Year off right! Don’t miss your chance to begin 2017 with a bunch of friends (old and new!) during our January 6-8 retreat. Not only will you have a chance to enjoy Lake Ann’s great accommodations and awesome food, but you will be challenged by powerful messages and awesome worship. And we’ll pack the weekend full of activities, from our tubing hill and snowshoeing, to unique group games and creative twists on old classics. Warm up by a fire place while chatting with a new friend, or sip a great cup of coffee from our camp store and coffee shop. Start 2017 right and enjoy Lake Ann Camp during the winter, with other young adults and college students; you’ll be glad you did!

Speaker: Matt Herron, Lead Pastor, Sojourn Church
About our speaker: Matt Herron was born into a ministry family. His father and his grandfather were both pastors which resulted in the local church playing a center role in his life. Matt trusted Christ at a young age and during his senior year of high school God began to stir a desire in him to become a pastor. In 1994 he went to college and met his wife (Kim). Along the way, he has graduated from college and seminary, got married, served four churches, had four children and experienced God’s undeserved faithfulness. Matt has served as the Lead Pastor at Sojourn Church in Traverse City since 2006.
