Freeze Out 2020

It’s like summer camp, but a whole lot cooler!

Join us in 2020 for one of Lake Ann Camp’s five great winter weekend youth retreats. Freeze Out is for middle school, and high school aged campers.

Northern Michigan is the perfect destination for winter fun, and Lake Ann Camp has exciting programs planned with great activities, engaging speakers, and lots and lots of snow! All Freeze Out chapels feature worship led by Cedarville University’s ministry team, Heartsong. Of course, there will always be time to sit around an outdoor fire—or indoor fireplace—and make connections with new friends while enjoying a steaming flavored cappuccino or delicious ‘frozen’ hot chocolate from the Red Canoe Camp Store.

New this year, the first Freeze Out weekend will be a special Saturday-Monday edition on MLK weekend.

Our Speakers

Ken Rudolph

If you know only one name associated with Lake Ann Camp, that name is probably Ken Rudolph. Ken has a remarkable gift for communicating with young people, and for many years, Ken has been the principle speaker for Lake Ann Camp’s high school programs. Ken’s authentic, humorous, and animated style connects with young people and addresses their fears and hopes with God’s good news. Ken is also involved in doing teen camps in Germany, Romania, and Argentina. In 2009, Ken and his wife, Jinner, joined the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism and are part of the Mobilization Team, recruiting young people for the work of church planting in Europe.

BRYAN WISE

Since 2006, Bryan Wise has served as the Lead Pastor of Grace Community Church, Richmond, Michigan. Bryan has been very involved with Lake Ann Camp, and is a regular summer camp speaker in the Lake Ann Camp Fresh Start program. Fresh Start is a week-long program designed for students entering ninth grade. Speakers join the campers on a three-day raft trip on the Pine River. While speaking on Fresh Start, Bryan has been effective in showing campers the biblical source of true confidence. He’s also made great personal connections with campers sharing raft time. Bryan is married to Ginger, and they have three daughters.
