THE MISSION
Lake Ann Camp exists to challenge individuals in a group setting to make biblical, life changing decisions through unique learning experiences.
THE PURPOSE
The Leaders In Field Training (L.I.F.T.) program is designed to help prepare students for effective ministry in not only Christian camping but related ministry fields as well.
LIFT seeks to equip emerging leaders with an understanding of their individual giftedness by preparing them for responsible and influential ministry in the kingdom of God.

KEY DATES
The LIFT intern program will begin at 8:00 am on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, and will end at 5:00 pm Saturday, May 30, 2026.
COMPENSATION
Each LIFT member will receive a weekly stipend (wage) of $325. This wage will be paid bi-weekly, and Interns will be paid throughout the 40 weeks of the internship, including the holiday breaks.
Lake Ann Camp will provide adequate onsite shared housing and basic utilities.
Meals are included anytime they are served in the dining hall. When the dining hall is closed, interns can use the kitchen to prepare personal meals.
TIME OFF
Because adequate paid time off is scheduled into the internship, there is no additional vacation time provided. Interns will accrue one hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked in housekeeping duties. This is the compensated source of the stipend. Interns are granted up to three days for sickness or significant events (i.e. family wedding) that may be granted only with approval in advance, with used accrued sick hours (described above) deducted from the total of the three days.
OTHER DETAILS
Due to the demands of the LIFT program, interns will not be available for regular outside employment during the 9-month internship period.
Generally, every effort is made to schedule each LIFT member at least one full day off each week, which will be determined by the guest group/retreat schedule.
