Acorn Acres Manager
The manager of Acorn Acres is responsible for the wellbeing of the animals at the Acorn Acres barn. Must be self-motivated, gentle and patient, and able to keep a schedule. Experience with animal care required. Must have graduated high school. Main Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: instructing campers on the respect and responsibility of animal care, daily barn chores, and the daily care of the animals at the Acorn Acres. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Archery/Fieldhouse Manager
The Archery/Fieldhouse Manager is responsible for the management of the archery and fieldhouse activities at camp. Main Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: instructing and supervising campers during archery activities, maintaining cleanliness and organization of fieldhouse and archery equipment, assisting in other areas as required by supervisor. Minimum age - 18 years of age or older desired. Must have graduated high school.
Cleaning Crew Supervisor
Main Responsibilities include training, equipping, developing, and managing the Cleaning Crew—and the Cleaning Crew Team Leads in particular—so that the daily cleaning of camper cabins and bath houses is accomplished, and trash is collected. Reports to the Operations Manager. Must be 18 years old or older.
Cook
Cooks serve in the kitchen alongside support staff, creating delicious meals that campers will write home about! Must be able to follow a recipe. Must work well under pressure. Main Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: The preparation and serving of over 2,000 meals per day, and any other tasks necessary to serve guests and campers. Reports to the Food Service Director. Previous food service experience preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Counselor
Counselors are the key to the success of Lake Ann Camp and therefore are required to be spiritually mature individuals with a heart for God and a heart for people. They must be able to guide and influence campers in a positive direction, be able to take feedback from others, and lead activities for approximately 11 campers each week. Counselors must be willing to give 100% to their campers, 24 hours a day from Monday morning until Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Must have completed one year of college training or its equivalent.
Health Officer Assistant
Assistants are responsible for supporting the Camp Nurse in dispensing camper & staff medication, assessing & treating injuries and monitoring the overall health of more than 500 campers and 150 staff members each week. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to, maintaining health records and cleanliness of the health clinic. LPN, EMT, graduate RN, or college Junior nursing major strongly preferred. Minimum of high school graduate and 18 years of age while those with 1 or more years of college are preferred.
High Adventure Team Member
High Adventure team members are responsible for maintaining and ensuring safe operations of high adventure elements while creating an environment where campers feel empowered to step outside their comfort zone. Other duties include, but not limited to, maintenance of high adventure equipment & elements, supporting program activities, running night watch, and completing some cleaning assignments. Must possess leadership skills with the ability to work at heights and carry loads of 25 lbs. Minimum of school graduate and 18 years of age while those with 1 or more years of college are preferred.
Laura’s Crafts
The manager of Laura’s Crafts is responsible for the planning, set-up, supervision, and clean-up of daily arts and crafts. They must balance multiple schedules, communicate well with campers, and handle the processing of cash transactions and a program budget. They establish an atmosphere that encourages creativity and bonding between campers and their cabinmates. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Lifeguard
Lifeguards are responsible for the safety of campers while engaged in waterfront activities (both on and off camp) including boating safety. In addition, life guards are responsible for the maintenance of waterfront equipment and grounds. Other duties include, but are not limited to, supporting program activities, helping with luggage service on Monday and Saturday mornings, and completing some cleaning assignments. Must have the ability to obtain Red Cross (or equivalent) Life Guard Certification prior to the start of camp. Minimum of high school graduate and 18 years of age while those with 1 or more years of college are preferred.
Media Team Lead
As the Media Team Lead at Lake Ann Camp, you’ll oversee a small team of photographers and videographers who capture the stories of camp each week. Your role is less about creating every video yourself and more about guiding the process -- setting priorities, ensuring deadlines are met, troubleshooting gear and workflow issues, and giving constructive feedback so your team grows and delivers excellent work. Expect long days, lots of walking, and the need to adapt quickly when camp’s pace or weather changes. We’re looking for someone 18+ with at least a year of experience outside of high school, strong organizational and leadership skills, and a positive, steady presence under pressure. Media experience is helpful, but your ability to lead and keep the team running smoothly is what will make you thrive in this role.
Media Team
Do you love telling stories through photos and video? As a member of the Lake Ann Camp Media Team, you’ll capture cabin photos and daily camp life, edit a 2–3 minute highlight video each week, produce digital content for campers and churches, and help run sound for outdoor events. Expect to work hard—long days, lots of walking, hauling gear, and meeting deadlines—while collaborating closely with a high-energy team, receiving constructive feedback, and adapting to the unpredictable pace of camp. We’re looking for someone 18+ with at least a year out of high school, a positive attitude, creativity, and an eye for detail; photography, video, or editing skills are preferred, and previous camp or media experience is a plus.
Mr. Fix-It (Food Prep and Delivery)
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to: the preparation and delivery of food to and from Jump Start, Fresh Start, and Chuck Wagon and any other tasks necessary to serve guests and campers. Must be dependable, arrive to work on time, know your schedule, and be self motivated. Reports to the Food Service Director. No food service experience necessary. Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Program Director
Program Directors are responsible for creating an experience where campers are able to have fun, feel safe and supported, and are given the opportunity to to step outside their comfort zone. Program Directors are responsible for keeping the daily schedule for a program of 100+ campers running smoothly and efficiently. Must possess leadership skills, be capable of motivating counselors and campers, and have completed at least one full summer as a counselor on the Lake Ann Camp.
Red Canoe Barista and Retail Associate
Must be dependable, arrive to work on time, know your schedule, multitask, and be self-motivated. Must be able to greet customers promptly and cheerfully and take pride in your work. Main Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: creating a friendly atmosphere for campers and guests, ability to listen and learn quickly, maintain quality standards for our coffee drinks and ice cream, and any other tasks necessary to serve guests and campers. Previous employment history preferred.
Must be a high school graduate and 18 years of age or older.
Security
A person assigned to security detail for the camp must be 18 years of age or older and will report directly to the Camp Program Director. The following is a list of skills required to apply for the position, but does not include all aspects of the position. Further details of the position will be discussed as needed and at the appropriate time with the applicant. Duties include, but are not limited to: Patrolling the approximately 350 acres of camp property on foot and on the camp-provided golf cart. Maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance indicative of the standards set forth by the camp. Wearing the provided security uniform. Quick and effective decision making for the benefit of the camp and camper. Using the provided two-way communication devices in a clear and concise manner Providing detailed reports of any incidents that occur on camp property outside the normal activities.
Social Media Assistant
This role is designed for a creative self-starter who wants to tell the story of summer camp in real time. The Social Media Lead is responsible for capturing and curating daily content for Instagram and Facebook—shooting photos and video, editing for web and mobile, writing engaging captions, and keeping content fresh and on brand. They’ll manage a content calendar, use Canva for graphics, and ensure that families, churches, and future campers see the best of Lake Ann’s summer life online. In addition to social media responsibilities, this role provides support similar to the Tech Team -- helping run chapel sound and lighting, assisting with photo organization, and pitching in for camp needs as needed. Applicants should be flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable both behind the camera and behind the scenes. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Summer Office Assistant
The Summer Office Assistant is a vital behind-the-scenes role in the heart of our camp ministry. As a member of the front office team, this individual supports smooth daily operations and the mission of creating a Christ-centered, welcoming environment for campers, staff, and guests. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, hospitality, and being a calm, helpful presence in a dynamic setting. Main Responsibilities include, but are not limited to answering phones, greeting visitors, managing daily camper mail, and any other tasks as assigned by the office manager. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, be able to handle interruptions with grace, and have a heart for serving others. Previous office experience is a plus but not required. Must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate.
Support Staff Supervisor
Support Staff Supervisors have the immense privilege and responsibility of facilitating the spiritual, emotional, and physical development and well-being of the high school aged summer staff in such a way that campers are best served. This role is an incredible opportunity to minister to high schoolers and help them experience a summer of joyful service and personal growth. Driver's license required. Must have counseled at Lake Ann Camp in a previous season.
Special Diets Cook
Must be able to follow a recipe and work well under pressure. Main Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: LEAD the preparation and serving of various dietary restricted meals, including (but not limited to) gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free meals, and any other tasks necessary to serve guests and campers. Reports to the Food Service Director. Previous food service experience preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Tech Team
This role is designed for recent high school graduates who want hands-on experience with photography, videography, and live production. Previous knowledge is helpful, but training is provided throughout the summer. Main responsibilities include: running chapel sound and lighting, assisting the Media Team with capturing photos and video footage of camp activities, organizing and preparing media for the weekly highlight video, and creating a weekly flash drive that’s available for campers and churches. Tech Team also helps print and organize cabin photos, manage and track media equipment inventory, and support outdoor events with sound setup and operation. Applicants should be able to lift 40 lbs and walk 5+ miles a day as they support multiple events across camp. Must be 18 years of age or older.
